Hello!
I’m a poet, writer, book editor, and herbalist, and for many years I co-ran a picture book press called Penny Candy Books. I’ve published a lyric memoir called Head Case: My Father, Alzheimer’s & Other Brainstorms and two books of poems. My new book, Agatha, is coming in October!
My poems and essays have appeared in Arts & Letters, Bennington Review, Carolina Quarterly, Chattahoochee Review, Conduit, Denver Quarterly, Gulf Coast, Massachusetts Review, Mid-American Review, Prairie Schooner, and elsewhere.
I’m currently writing a book about herbs for emotional support. When I’m not writing, you can find me digging in the garden, playing mad scientist, walking three dogs, reading a scary novel, or trying to make my cats like me.
