Editorial Work

A good editor is a respectful collaborator, idea incubator, vision shaper, word magician, grammar geek…and all-around creative thinker. I am an editor of innovative children's books and adult books (and everything from city magazines to literary journals). I'm currently particularly interested in books related to herbalism, ecology, gardening/permaculture, and naturalism—merging my passions for writing, folklore, and the natural world. In all of my editing ventures, from running a children's book press to editing 17th-century herbal texts, my goal is to help authors connect with readers through clear, vibrant, and thought-provoking writing.
